Veronica Lerner, MD

Board-certified in general Obstetrics and Gynecology and in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery, and fellowship-trained gynecologic surgeon, Dr. Lerner specializes in providing care for women during their reproductive years and menopause. Her fellowship training in advanced pelvic surgery enables her to implement minimally invasive surgical techniques in treatment of various benign gynecologic conditions, including surgery for fibroids, endometriosis and ovarian cysts.    

Her clinical interests include: laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery, minimally invasive hysterectomy and myomectomy, laparoscopic and robotic surgery, treatment of prolapse and incontinence, reconstructive pelvic surgery, endometrial ablation, as well as medical and surgical management of fibroids, abnormal uterine bleeding, adnexal masses, and chronic pelvic pain. Additional interests include treatment of abnormal Pap smears, colposcopy and related office procedures, and family planning.

Dr. Lerner firmly believes in helping guide patents in their medical journey by empowering them with medical information and in supporting them to make decisions about their care that fits them best. 

She is also active in local and national medical community, directing simulation program in her department to enhance educational experience of trainees, and in improving quality and delivery of care to our patients.
