Howard Stevens

Howard Stevens serves as Deputy Managing Partner of Gross McGinley and Chair of the firm’s Medical Malpractice Defense Group. He represents large hospitals and health networks as well as individual physicians in medical malpractice claims.  He is well versed in complex litigation cases involving medical treatment investigations, including, among other things, surgery, obstetrics, and emergency medicine.  Howard guides his professional team to work with medical personnel in an efficient manner so they can concentrate on the care of their patients.  He also coordinates with risk managers to run thorough investigations and develop preventative measures.

Howard also has an active plaintiffs’ practice in personal injury.  He has handled a variety of litigation matters, including approximately 190 civil and criminal trials, over the course of his career.  Howard has been selected for inclusion in Pennsylvania Super Lawyers 2005 and 2011-2020 editions.
