Dr. Martin Martino
Martin A. Martino, M.D. is a Gynecologic Oncologist from Allentown Pennsylvania with expertise in minimally invasive and robotic surgery. He is also a Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Southern Florida Morsani College of Medicine. He completed medical school at Hahnemann Medical College in 1998. He went on to complete his residency at Rutgers: Robert Wood Johnson School of Medicine in New Brunswick, NJ in 2002, as well as a Galloway Fellowship at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in 2000. He completed his Gynecologic Oncology fellowship at the University of South Florida: H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center in 2005. In 2008, he started the LVHN Robotic Surgery Program and served (from 2010-2020) as the Medical Director and surgeon leader for this program. Dr. Martino has completed over 2500 robotic procedures and has performed the Lehigh Valley’s first Single Site Hysterectomy as well as Near Infrared Image Guided “Firefly” Surgery in the Lehigh Valley.
For those who know him, his passion is in caring for his patients and bringing them the most advanced innovative tools to help them get well. He is also a founding member of the Institute for Surgical Excellence as well as the Robotic Training Network (RTN).
He lives in Allentown, PA with his wife Jaime, who is a nurse and their 3 children.
